UEL were contracted to supply of Force Standard Machines to National Metrology Institute of Ethiopia.
Project Overview
We are proud to announce the successful completion of a major contract valued at over EUR 2.285 million for the supply of four Force Standard Machines. These high-precision instruments, ranging in capacity from 200N to 200kN, are essential for calibrating and verifying the accuracy of force-measuring devices such as load cells, force transducers, and testing machines.
By delivering these systems, we are contributing to the advancement of metrology infrastructure and ensuring traceable, reliable, and internationally recognised force measurements.
This World Bank funded project marks a significant step forward in strengthening Ethiopia’s national measurement capabilities in line with global standards.
