Working with the UNDP in Brazzaville we successfully supplied a wide range of agricultural equipment to the Ministry of Agriculture in the Republic of Congo.

The 3.7 million US Dollar contract Included the supply and delivery of:

  • New Holland and YTO tractors – 32 wheeled and 20 tracked units in total, varying engine power
  • Implements supplied included 4 and 5 disc ploughs (x30), sprayers (x50), tipping trailers (x20), fertilizer spreaders (x18), potato planters and harvesters (x7), seed drills (x20) and spare parts for all items

With goods coming from Italy, Turkey, China and several other supply points, good project coordination was vital to the success of the project. As many of the items were supplied part built or completely knocked down a team of engineers was ready in-country when the goods arrived to assemble and commission the equipment.

All items were delivered safely and on time whilst training was also provided for 10 operators over a period of 15 days before a handover ceremony with project staff and dignitaries, highlighting the importance of the goods to local farmers.
